Two bowies from the same billet, the little one is done in silver and mother of pearl from the late 1800's, the sheath is also silver, the larger one has a 7 3/4" blade, handle is three pieces of walrus with nickel silver spacers, the third knife is a WW 2 M4 I am trying to save. Hi Deane
Those are good looking knives, and sheaths.
Did you do the silver work on the small bowie? Looks like it was cast in the lost wax meathod . I've allways wanted to learn how to do that.
I haven't done much for quite.some time
I have a NS sheath that needs a "Will and Finck" style belt clip I've been procrastinating on.
Good to see your work, always inspiring, been thinking of a large clasic bowie so your post is especialy motavating.

Hi Mark, no I did not do the silver sleeve it was on the old flat ware, I think they were stamped rolled and soldered. Some where I have a prototype of the Will & Fink boot clamp. John, thank you for the kind words. Deane
