this is the one of four. the other three are gone. this fella needs a home too. it is 9" OAL and is made from 1095. it is 3/16" at the ricasso. full flat grind with an acid pattern finish. handle is black wrap over burgundy alligator underlay. it comes shaving sharp complete with leather sheath for $175. thanks for looking.

Real nice. Does the blade actually have the gold tone appearance?

well, yes and no. it is just an attribute of the acid patina. in certain lights it has a gold tone. in other lights it is more yellow or even a silver grey color. it is a neat effect. i really like using different acid treatments on my knives. i am a chemist in real life, so it is fun to experiment.
