My name is jason and I am not selling anything but I am looking to buy a knife. I am particularly intersted in the Cold Steel Recon 1 tanto serrated or plain edge. This only includes the older style, not the new style. It must have the G-10 handle and the old style openeing and locking mechanism. I will buy used or new one. I was in the miltary over seas when this knife came out and was going to buy it when i arrived home. well now it's not avaliable. I know it's discontinued so if anyone can help I would appreicate it. I am not a dealer or hoarder, I only need one for my personal use. Thanks
 
Try eBay. There are usually some available on there. Good knife. I gave mine to my apprentice after her replaced my bathtub as a favor. I still miss it.
 
I don't really want to bid, i'd rather just buy it. can anyone post known sites that may carry it?
 
Did you ever find one? I think I have a used one around if you are still interested, it has been awhile.
