Composite long blade (SWORD)Scabbord done

Thought I would share a recent completion. The blade is 20.75 inches with overall length of 26.75 inches. The steel is a 5 bar composite of O-1 and 1018, 3 inner bars are opposing interrupted twist and outer bars are random, The bars are 7 layers each.80 layer wrought iron and nickel,guard spacers and butt plate.I used stainless steel for spacers as well.The handle is carved Walrus ivory. I started the scabbord today and will post when done (wood velvet lined)
