Copper

I recently ran on to a bar of copper about2"x4"x24". I've seen gaurds made of copper and would like to use it. The last time I tried copper I scrapped it because I couldn't find pins. I tried using12 gauge romex but it just wanted to bend instead of peen. Also if anyone has a mill to put a 3/16" slot in some guards I would be happy to share some of the bar.

Nice score. I use copper a lot. Had a couple of old light poles that I scavenged the grounding line off. It runs around .203" and looks good. Haven't had any problems with 12g wire, just make sure you give an extra couple thousandths on the hole.
