CPM3V Tactical Katana

Specs are
CPM3V .25 thick
33" overall length with 22.5-23" depending on where you measure to
blade width is 1.6" Very wide for a katana but balances out SWEET! and give a mean look

Heat treated by Peters. The flats are etched with a splatter pattern and the cutting edge is finished to a fine scotch brite finish. I'm working on a shorter 18" batch right now, which personally I find nicer as a back pack blade. This customer asked in specific for the traditional wrap but I really liked the looks of the G10 alone, maybe with some ground in texture and a sand blast for grip.

Nice work! One of these days I'll get off of my rump and finish the Wakizashi blade that Dan of 3V for me. I need to do the finish sanding and then make the habaki and build the koshirae. I've been toying with the idea of "tactical/traditional" by using Micarta or G-10. Your photos have inspired me to get the sketch book out.
