Curtiss F³-S prototype

[Curtiss Knives]

This is a new one for me. F³-S Framelock. This knife features a CPM-154 blade in 5/32" thickness with a 3 1/2" cutting edge. The frames are 1/8" titanium that I created a teardrop pattern in. The thumbstud will be replaced with ambi-style (didn't have them yet). The pivot is 1/4" and has phos-bronze washers. The OAL of the knife is 8 1/2" open and 5" closed. Glides like butta!

Nice! I was in the market for a new folder not too long ago, this would have been a great excuse to spend way beyond my budget. Just as well, I need downpayment $ for a house (with a 25'x50' quonset hut workshop!). Glad you waited to show this one off or I might be the poorer for it.
