Custom knife woes

Hello all I am making a custom knife for a customer, my angle grinder burnt out on me, I'm wondering how else you would cut the shape out, the customer requested a 1/4 inch thick blade, from O1 tool Steel

I have a horizontal bandsaw that hinges vertical with a table now, but previously I profiled all of my blanks on a porta-band bandsaw that I mounted vertically on my bench.

If you don't have one available, you might try simply drilling a lot of holes very close to each other around the perimeter of your pattern, and then "connect the dots" with a hack saw.
 
Thanks all, AR I was thinking of that, I have a simple cordless drill haha, going to try it after I use a centre punch
