Damascus & checkered ironwood folder

Just finished this folder up. I made the blade from a slice of a Chad Nichols/Steve Kelly canister mosaic billet that I got from them at a hammer in around 2007. Scales are hand checkered ironwood. Jeweled titanium liners. Fileworked black g-10 backspacer. 4 1/4" closed, 3 3/8" blade.

OK cut it out! Now you’re just showing off! J/k. Beautifully crafted without being gaudy. There’s only one thing I don’t like about it. It’s not mine. :) Awesome work John!

Your work is simply elegant. Well done. That Damascus is a beautiful compliment to the checkered iron wood and the file work puts it over the top.

So I deleted the “may we critique” post, because that’s not really what I meant to say lol. I was poorly attempting to get across that I can’t look at this knife without imagining it with one of your hamones. But then I thought, can you even do that on a folder? I love this knife, by the way. I think it’s my favorite of all your knives, and that’s saying something.
