This is my first solo attempt at grinding a blade. The steel is 19c5va & 15n20.The blade was heat treated by Hoss.I made the handle from mammoth tooth and black ash burl.I had to thin the blade after i installed the handle, rookie mistake.I did some experimenting with etching so the blade does not look like this anymore.I feel that if the dammy has to deep of an etch it wants to "grab" the food.I found a happy medium between looks and function on the etch.

That is a beautiful knife. Great job. Where did you buy the steel from? Devin? Or did he just do the heat treatment?

That's great bro. Didn't know you were making? Who mad the Damascus?

When i was at Hoss's he started a billet and split it in three,he hammered one out for a gyuto for me,i hammered one out,and marko hammered one out.As for making knives,it's just going to be a hobby,I need to get some steel and start another one ASAP.
