deburring wheel coated with rouge?

I have been using a norton fine deburring wheel for polishing knives and would like to know if I can use a polishing rouge to use on wood handles and antler as well as steel added to the deburring wheel?

Probably best to use the rouge on a dedicated buffing wheel.
Bad things happen when different abrasive materials are mixed.

I second what Rob45 just said.

I use a stitched Medium Muslim buffing wheel loaded with Green Chrome compound for deburring.
Works great!
