Dire Straights

[Jarrettknives]

These are a result of a few projects that I worked on to take up time while
waiting for the furnace to get up to temp or while I'm tempering knives for special orders.

This one was hollow ground on an 8" wheel out ofDevon Thomas Damascus, 50,000 year old Ancient
Kauri, Elephant Ivory wedge and nickel silver hardware. It became my daily shaver.

This one went down to WNCRanger in Phoenix for "Testing" ...
It's made with 52100 High Carbon steel; actual Brazilian Rosewood
(thanks Ray!) Amboynia Burl wedge, and nickel silver hardware
- 3/16" at spine, deep hollow ground on 5" wheel.

This one was just plain fun. It is also Devon Thomas
Damascus, Jade G10 with Black G10 wedge and nickel silver hardware -
hollow/chisel ground on 8" wheel.
