Early morning rasp hunter

I intend on cleaning the shop this morning but got side tracked when I found a pile of farrier rasps I had forgotten about. Ssooo.... I made a rasp hunter.

I was able to keep the side for jibbing

Now I need to get back to work.

I like that snake skin side, any plans for a handle or heat treat.
I see you like little coffee in your cream, me too!
I wonder if cleaning is a form of procrastination ?

Thanks Mark. I'm not sure on a handle, I've epoxied micarta to other rasps with good success. I may just leave it for now.

These rasps are harder than the hubs of hell to begin with, grinding them is slow going to not heat them up. They hold a great edge though.

Alright a fellow KMD sufferer. I tried cleaning my shop also today and made it as far as the project box and then it became a trip to the grinder then bandsaw an back to the grinder. Lol
Thats a spiffy lil blade, I think I may have to make some of these thanks to a whole hoof care specialist.
