I am making a hidden tang elk antler knife. I put a pin in the hidden tang to hold the blade secure. I slopped out some epoxy while putting the pin in place and didn't see the spill. I now have a thin coat of epoxy about the size of a quarter on one side of the knife. I figure if I try to sand it, it will take the top coat of the antler and leave a whitish place. Any ideas on how to handle this????
