You guys are The Best for helping us new guys and for all of us we thank you. I've seen several places that tell you how to build an etching power supply for around $50. I've got a little DC power pac that I use to power short strings of LED lights in display boxes that I build. It is nothing more than extruded plastic designed to hold 8 AA batteries with a pair of leads coming off of it. The paperwork says that it delivers 12V of DC power - doesn't say anything about the amps. If I soldered alligator clips to the leads do you think I could use this power source for etching? Thanks again,
