I have the hardest time deciding whether to go with antler or micarta on a custom so I decided why not use both, too contour the micarta for the main part of the knife and use the crown stag for the rest of the knife. Has anyone done something like this? I wonder how it looks and also what color of micarta would look best. I have seen makers do this very thing with wood then antler but never these combinations of material I think it would look cool and hold up well if done correct.
