So, I realized I've been reading the forum for quite a while, and even posted a time or two. However, somehow missed the introduction post! Anyway, name is Dan Kemppainen. Live in Upper Michigan (Keewenaw Peninsula). If you don't count the knives made as a teenager, I've been at this for a little under 10 years now. Specifically the knives I like are hunting, kitchen, and gents folders. (And a custom carving knife for a guy, you may have read about!
)
Currently working on my gents folder design, and general fit and finish of all my knives. My hope is to get into forging damascus for folders before too long. Although time seems to be holding me back there. There always seems to be some skill or another I'm trying to develop. Never enough time in the day!
