Finished a couple...

I spent the better part of the day getting these three wrapped up, and ready for sheaths. I don’t post much finished stuff, but I felt like today I had an exceptionally productive day in the shop.
All of the blades are AEB-L. The top one is wearing a burl wood, acrylic hybrid and my first real go at dovetailed bolsters. The second one is a knife for a good friend of a friend. The idea was to be cowgirl, but barrel racer, not rodeo queen. I think we pulled it off. The third is my take on a very utilitarian bird and trout, for an avid fisherman friend.

Nice work Kev!! I like all of them. Great job on the dovetailed bolsters. I like the hybrid wood on the second. I ‘ve used it on several knives and they all sold very quickly. The bird and trout looks like a very useful knife. Really nice profile on that one.
