Finished with my first knife

Hello all - So i'm finally done with my first knife. Not the sexiest or coolest knife in the world but for what it is, a skiving tool, it works like a charm. I have big balloon hands so it's nice to have a handle that fits my hands perfectly.

I'm going to use it for a while, take notes and start version 2 soon.

I'm still not ready to jump in with both feet, go all out and purchase a KMG grinder, furnace and HT Oven but I'll treat myself to a new set of files and maybe make a better file jig for the next one.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the encouragement.

Not sure that my wife can handle another hobby of mine. I find myself stealing away for hours at a time working on my next knife. My "shop" is at my office so I'll be there from after dinner to midnight or later.

Does anyone else do this and still remain married?!

Yes...but don't shirk responsibilities. Ditch the TV not the wife....
