First Flat Grind

First, I wanted to point out that this blade is not my design. This is Walter Sorrells' Agent model. I subscribe to Sorrells on Youtube and support him through his Patreon page. He provided the plans for the knife to his Patreon donors. Second, this is the first blade that I have ever completed with a flat grind. Previously, I've always did hollow grinds on my knives, so this was an interesting build for me. Lastly, one of these days I hope to make a knife that I don't have a ton of setbacks/screw ups. I ended up marking this blade three times, sanding the mark off twice, before getting the mark somewhat right.

Wish my flat grinds looked that good!! Like Sorrels knives. I patterned my first knife off of the same knife. I just took the overall and transferred over the design features though.

I'm kind of excited about doing a flat grind again. I have a hell of a time with the tip on my hollow grinds.

Agreed. I like the fact that he often shows the same build in different ways. It shows folks with and without all the equipment the how to's.
