Hi Gang,
I am new to knife making and just finished my first Knife and Sheath and thought I would share some pictures. I had a blast working on this and can't wait to make some more. I didn't make the blade blank, which is San Mai Damascus, but added the handle scales and ended up having to re-etch the blade after changing the polished Damascus brights to a satin finish. I finished off the carbon fiber by wet sanding with 600 grit. This is my first sheath as well and I really like the way it came out. Some 1/8" aluminum sandwiched between 2 layers of Kydex and held together with small Chicago screws. It has an integral clip fixture that can be removed. All-in-all I happy with how it came out and can't wait to make my own designs, which I already drew up :1:. Thanks for the opportunity to post.
