First knife on NWG

Just ground my first knife on my newly finished NWG. I used the belts that Tracy recommended. Definetly a great improvement over the craftsman 4x36 belt sander that I've been flat grinding on. Tracy you are a genius. I bow to the King2thumbs
 
That's great news.

Ya gotta give Tracey credit, he knew what the knifemaker needed and designed an inexpensive easy to build grinder for us. Tracey rocks.

Now we're impatiently waiting on pics of your knife,:)

I am going to need to show this to my wife. I keep telling her that and she just calls me a smart@@@...
 
I had a 4x36 before the NWG.I am sure there are better grinders,but I will say as far as I am concerned,its the best I can have.
We do need pictures.

I'll get some pics this weekend of the grinder and some knives. I stay so busy I don't give much thought to takin pics. I promise to get some.
 
My only regret is that I didn't paint mine as nice as yours. Mine got painted like my my old '79 pickup flat black primer. Not real purty
