For Sale Beach Cities Ironworks Clipper. 1/8" thick O1 tool steel, Hardness is 60 on the Rockwell scale and so will take and hold a fine edge and still be easily sharpened. The Clipper come with a belt Finish/satin finish which is appropriate for a field/using knife and that will hide scratches and can easily be touched up by the end user. The blade itself has a 3.75" blade and a 7.75" overall length, thumb grooves are incorporated into spine of blade so you can securely place thumb on top to add pressure to cut. Green canvas micarta scales are comfortably contoured, not too thick and not too thin. Clipper comes with Kydex sheath that will fit up to 1.5" belt, and is not just an afterthought; sheath holds knife securely and is locked in once in sheath. Kydex is light and strong, will not rot, loosen or lose its shape over the life of the knife is impact and abrasion resistant and does a good job of securely holding and protecting blade from damage. The front cutaway is not for looks but is to to aid in obtaining a secure grip on knife when drawing from sheath. I do not use tek loks because they are bulky, the shop molded belt loop is .80 Kydex and is securely held by two Chicago screws. As a belt is passed over the front of the body of sheath and under the loop it will be tightened and held securely to waist, which compensates for any variations in belt size or thickness. $180.00, free shipping in CONUS.
