Forge finish camp knife

I started out making this knife for destruction testing but now it become my woods knife . The blade is 5160 triple edge quenched. Guard and pommel are wrought iron cord wrapped handle. I'm did some chopping to see how it holds up and I really like the way it feels in my hand. I soaked the handle in fiberglass. What do you think?

Could you elaborate a little on the triple edge quench?

I used the method on Ed Caffrey's web site for producing a ABS bend test knife. Since Ed dose a better job explaining how to do it then I could, check it out here

I like the look of an edge quenched blade and they sure can take a lot of abuse. A knife like this where durability is the number one concern edge quenching is a nice fit.
