Just finished up this forged 5160 Bowie for the show we're doing in Lubbock October 8/9. Guard is stacked and soldered stainless and copper, and the handle is juniper Burl from Ruidoso, NM stabilized by K And G. Oal is 13 inches. I'm working toward JS testing for ICCE 2017. Hopefully I can get some MS eyes on this one... I think it's pretty good.

Darn tooting that's pretty darn good.... heck, looks GREAT to me. BTW, that wood sure looks like Thuya burl! BUT, I do realize juniper Burl can look very much like Thura also. Nice wood.

That's awesome! Very well done Jason. I didn't know about the Lubbock show. Where will it be held? I'm in Amarillo. May have to drive down! Would love to see it in person and finally get to meet you.

KCorn (and any other Texas folks), the show is a joint effort between the Texas Knifemakers' Guild and the Silver Spur Gun Show at the civic center October 8/9. We're still taking table holders if you want to come down and try and sell a few, and of course you're welcome to come down and visit. www.silverspurtradeshows.com and email Kim for table information. Tell her you're with the Texas Knifemakers' Guild and she will get you fixed up.
