forgrd integral in F3

Hallo

It's been a long time since i'v finished a knife, it sure feels good

i always loved forged integrals specifically Gerhard Wieland's work, because i only do stock removal i couldn't make one, but thanks to a good friend and a fellow knife maker named Rudi Zirlin who made the blade blank for me i was able to make one, here is my take on it.

blade: F3 with differential hardening
handle: stabilized indonesian ebony with brass spacer
overall length: 30cm

i wish, i was working on a big batch of knives to sand for HT, i'm going to the knife makers show in solingen this May so i have allot of work,
and i do have anough stabilized wood from you to survive a nuclear war
BTW i loved working with the indonesian ebony, amazing wood.

Is there a shortage of eye protection in Israel?
I second that your friends and you all need eye gear.

The knife is excellent! You can make integrals by stock removal if you are willing to sacrifice a lot of stock and belts! I made a few out of some 1/2" thick A2 steel I came across a few years back. keep your eye open for any tool steels in thick sheet. Very sexy looking knife.
