Greetings from Austin, TX!

I'm not sure what happened, but I submitted an intro yesterday and it seems to have disappeared into the internet ether... Anyway, here it goes again!

I'm a novice knifemaker from Austin. I started out back in 2004-2006, making a couple knives on a Delta 1x42" grinder, then quit for a few years when I realized I had done about all I could on that tool. I recently invested in a KMG-1 and I'm getting back into the hobby.

Good looking work. I used to see signs all over Austin that said "Keep Austin Weird"? How are they doing with that? The last time I was there it looked like it was in pretty good hands!

Nice looking work! My brother Jason and I are from the Leander area, but have scattered somewhat since. Mom and Dad are still there though, and the wider family is all around Marble Falls. Good to see some more Texans representing. Welcome.
