Throughout my life I have done tree work, been a mechanic, a tow truck driver and more. Now I am a systems administrator which really means that I am now out of shape from sitting on my butt for the last 15 years. Throughout all of this I have dreamed of making knifes and finally, with most of the kids out of the house making grandkids for me to spoil I started to pursue this dream. Sure wish that I started sooner, but in any case here I am and I caught the bug bad.
I mean science, metalwork, leatherwork and woodwork combined to create pieces of art that is actually useful for more then just looking at. How awesome is that?!
I just finished my first knife and am very happy with it all considered. The mistakes/issues with it did nothing but spur me on keep learning and improve my skills in this craft.
