guess what i found in the ceiling space...

ray mears grandfathers knife!
looks like it was made from o1 with a brass guard,jarrah scales with black liners,
brass rivets and homemade flax twine for a lanyard.
just guessing,but the sheath looks like its covered in home braintanned thar skin ,but i could be wrong
im pretty happy with it anyway.

thanks guys,dwane we have himilayan thar over here in nz.they are a big hairy mountain goat,and they were released here for hunting.also the patina was the gun blue and bleach method. cheers, casey
