Hell on Wheels tv show

Any of you guys watch the tv show Hell on Wheels? I keep trying to get a good look at the main characters Bowie, but they never seem to show it very well. Anybody know if it's a real knife or who made it? It might just be a prop, but it looks like the real thing. If somebody has a good pic to share, I'd like to see it.

They've shown a couple other knives up close, and they looked very authentic to me, at least what I think of being correct for the time period.

I never saw the hell on wheels show, but I've watched turtle man catch critters with his bare hands while sporting a bowie. never got a good look at the knife though.

I watch Hell on Wheels every week and I've been trying to get a good look at the main characters knife to, with no luck.

Check out these screen shots - appears to be a pretty basic 7-8" Bowie blade (maybe one of the Solingen German blades?) with a deer antler stick tang handle and simple oval brass guard - in fact the blade and guard look like some of those sold by dealers such as Crazy Crow.
