Hi, my name is John Foxwell and I'm a maker from the land down under.
I've only just discovered this site and it looks great to me. I've dealt with and spoken to BossDog a bit, buying materials etc and there's a few familiar handles I've seen on other sites.
I'm member of the Australian Knifemakers Guild and I'm a stock removalist at this time but I'm in the process of building a forge (preparing for my transition to the dark side
) and getting together the bits and pieces needed to forge.
My focus has been on users, although I do make the occasional 'pretty knife' but I really like the kind of knives that hunters and fisher persons are likely to use.
That's about it and it's nice to be here.
