Hello from Louisiana!

Hello to the Pack. I collected knives as a young fella, had a table in my room covered with my little collection. I found other interests as I got older but I believe I've come back to my senses with a vengeance, I can't stop thinking about sharp steel. As much as I had been on other knife forums, I did not find ya'll until last week. I could not believe the amount of talented knifemakers on here, truly talented people. I think it might be cheaper for me if I learn how to make my own knives because I want one of everything I see. I hope to learn a lot and buy a lot. Thanks for a great forum.:s11798:

Where are you located in the Great State ?
I grew up in Lafayette, way before it was a boom town. Dozier
 
I grew up in the Alexandria area, about 70 miles north of Lafayette. You are right, it is growing by leaps and bounds.
