Hi! my name is William Bishop. Im a newer knifemaker who doesnt post much but always reading! I do it totally as a hobby and the majority of my knives are either gifts or charity knives. To me thats a win win situation. Get to make something I really enjoy doing and help others. Im also a volunteer youth minister at my church and thats a big part of my life also. I work with high schoolers and youd be suprised how easy it is to have them come over work on a knife of there own and in the process get them to drop their gaurd and just talk. Most of the time its social and alchol/drug related problems and sometimes its spiritual. Hell just knowing they arnt out there drinking etc is enough for me
