Hi everyone!!! I've been living in US for 18 years, then got back to Russia about 3 y. ago. Thats when my passion for bladesmithing began. I loved knives all my life, but never thought that i can make one. Fortunatly, I've got the book about bladesmithing and I tried. Then I've met a Blacksmith who was so kind to let me work in his shop. Most of my knives are damascus from old files and bearings. Now I came back to SoCal, brought my wife and daughter here, but my hands missed the shop, anvil, hammers, etc. I'm trying to find a forge in LA were I can work. Any idea? Filled up an application to become a member of California Knifemaker Association, may be they can help. Anyway, glad to be here and see all of you. Here are the pictures of some of my knives.
