Help with heat treating

I just completed my knife 1080 steel. I put the knife in my forge and when it turned non metallic I left it in for about minute and half. Took it out and oil quenched it. My concern is my old toaster oven. It does seem to want to heat up over 390. I put the blade in at 390.
My concern if the blade is in at 390 the hardness will not be correct. Do I have to heat the blade back to 1450 and do over?
 
Tim, you should be fine. Your still too hard so just re-temper for two hours at the fight temp and you should be good to go.
