I made this a while ago just to satisfy my own curiosity. Perhaps a little over-engineered but i like overkill and it works quite well. I'm particularly happy with the gimbal!

Fully adjustable for any bevel angle. Will accept most sizes of hone.

The jaw section removes with the knife still clamped in place so that it can be flipped over and re-inserted to sharpen the other bevel without the angle changing.

I don't have any drawings i'm afraid.It was just thrown together from bits of scrap.
 
Thanks for the comments guys,very much appreciated! I made this as an experiment and a bit of fun really but i'm surprised at how well it works and the bevel symmetry speaks for itself. I don't use it very often as i prefer sharpening by hand on my waterstone, but it is an interesting tool that gives very good results.
