how to stencil a name on gunkote or where ? Help

I have a knife i need to engrave a name ,unit ,and date of time in the sand box BUTT I have Gunkote on the knife, so i can't etch it ,without messing with the gunkote ,how do you stencil this stuff on a knife,or whatever you call it on this knife I need this done like yesterday this guy comes home in a week or so HELP !!!!!!!!

1) Go to a auto supply store and buy a small pinstriping kit - in it should be a 2"x2" piece of sticky-backed vinyl.
2) Usa an x-acto knife to cut out your logo/name/initials/whatever.
3) Peel off the backing and stick your stencil on the knife and airbrush a lighter (or darker) colored Gun Kote onto the stencil. Mask off the rest of the knife
4) Back in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
5) Wa La!
