Howdy everyone, here's my first post.
I made my first two knives, users, designed and made to do the things I use knives for:
The first one:
0.210" 52100 @ 59HRC (Peter's)
9" Blade
Freehanded Flat grind
Edge: 18 degrees per side @ 0.030" thickness
5.3" Handle
Natural Micarta Scales with Neon Green G10 Liners
G/flex and Black Micarta Pins
And the second one:
0.125" O1 @ 61HRC (Peter's)
4" Blade
7/8 Freehanded Flat grind
Edge: 18 degrees per side @ 0.018" thickness
4.5" Handle
Bolivian Rosewood Scales with Black G10 Liners
G/flex and Black Micarta Pins
As you can see, my grind and plungle lines improved from one knife to the next. I'm very happy with the performance of these two, and I really like 52100's performance.
Let me know what you think!
