I’m new here I’m a gun guy so knives are not my wheelhouse, I just got this knife when my grandfather passed, wwII navy vet. It was with a bunch of his service things. I can’t find anything on the internet about it, it’s definitely been well used and heavily reground, still razor sharp. Only mark is PAUL JONES. Any info would be great.

I recently picked up a similar one, i believe its the same maker but different shape. Straight handle double edge blade, identical handle material and name stamp though. Came from a wwii veteran .oops, seems the file is too large, ill try to reduce it and get pics posted

There is a lot of I formation dedicated to military knives. Try a google search and I bet you can find a collectors forum specific to that knife. Good luck!
