That looks good Derek. I am assuming you are relatively new to knife making inasmuch as you said your trying to get the hang of it.
The grind looks nice, but it appears as though you could have smoothed out the bevel inlet just a little more. I personally like just a little more rounding in the handle. It isnt really an asthetic thing as much as it makes the knife more comfortable to grip. These things get easier with time and experience.
You ought to give us a little information about it. It looks as though it is a small user, possibly a paring knife. I really like the wood you used.
Sometimes I like to throw something in the picture to give a size perspective. It helps the viewer to conceptualize.
Please do not misinturpret my intentions, I like it and I dont want you to think I am bashing. I am only trying to help by throwing out my two cents.
I think you are on your way to bigger and better things.
Thank you very much for sharing.

Hello Derek,
Looks like a nice little paring knife you have made. One suggestion I have is for sanitary reasons. Use a solid 1/8" Nickel silver of even better stainless pin stock for your pins so bacteria can't hide in the tubing. Can make people sick.

Thanks guys for the feed back. And ya this is my 4th so Im still working on getting designs and shapes down. I guess more info would be good ha. Its 1095 3" blade 4.5"ish handle. I was a little nervous to do much with the handle since its only about 3/4" thick and 1/8" steel. I thought it might get a bit to weak. And the pins i used brass because the owner has never really carried a fixed blade and he wanted to give one a try. He pretty much wanted a folder that didnt fold. Eric, I dont really know what you mean by the bevel inlet. can you please explain? Thanks again guys and thanks for looking
