Just getting started

Just finished this one up today. 1095 Skinner with a slight upsweep and my first attempt at jibbing. G10 scales- after seeing that knife Self finished with the orange and black g-10 I thought I'd try it. Really like how the handle turned out. All thoughts and critiques are welcome.

I really don't know how I missed this thread! You have some great looking knives and your leather skills look good to.

My latest finished knife. This one is for a friend's 14 yr old son.
1095 steel
zebra wood handle
nickel silver pins
8-9oz leather sheath.
4 1/2" cutting edge 9" overall

The one thing I would change on this one, is I left the blade a little thick at the edge when I finished it out, so the secondary bevel is wider than I wanted. Otherwise it turned out great.

Blue one is 1084 with G10
Green one is O1 with micarta

Recently finished Nessmuk Skinner. 1095 with micarta.
Not a fan my sheath and will likely make a new one. But the knife turned out great.

1084 acid etched and lightly stonewashed
Stabilized boxelder burl with a little blue dye in it
Stainless Corby's and lanyard
