so i made this yesterday its 86 layers of 1095-15n20 the blade is 5 1/2" long the over all is 10 1/2" its 1/4" thick ,some guy has a old army ruger 45 LC he want to trade for a knife and he does some reenactments with old indian stuff and wanted to know if i did any knapping he would like that if i had any, no more stone knapping for me its to hard on the hands LOL so i made this just maybe he'll like it he said he does lots of chopping to fix stuff and wanted something strong ,so we'll see tomorrow when he gets home. i do want that pistol. i know its not just exactly like a stone knapped knife .the edge it for chopping not fine cutting its sharp but a 30 der. grind like a big bowie.

Thank guys, i put a better edge on it this morning now it will cut anything, man there is sure lots of sanding that goes into this knife for every grove theres 3 sanding to get it to 400 grt. but i like it i'm making a neck knife just like it i had a 6" pice of the same billet left over, after the two 10 1/2 and 12" blades
don't know what i will make out of the 12" billet might give it to darci for a bowie she wants to make,.
