Just scored my first custom

2thumbs This is a very early(circa 2001) Nihiser. About a year after he first started making. According to him, this is a one-off. Its got a ats-34 dbl ground semi-hawkbill blade, damascus bolsters, innner-bark mammoth ivory scales, anodized & fileworked throughout. What do you all think? I'm happy. I think now I'll become a "big time collector"! :D

That is a most excellent first score. Pat builds a great knife and he is a heck of a nice guy. Welcome to the sickness!!
 
Thanks for the compliments; I have to admit, the only way to get a knife from my b.f. is to buy one on the secondary mrkt. :D I think he was happier than I was to see one of his old stuff. Surprise Surprise! 2thumbs
