Last one for 2014.This one is a commissioned knife .01 tool steel with pearl kirinight and black G10 .Brass and carbon fiber pins.The inlaid coins are pure silver and gold from Alaska Mint.
Looks awesome! Also, it looks like it would be very useful and sturdy. I have a question for you if would be so kind. I under stand how the Kirinite reflects and looks so brilliant, but every time I use G-10, it seems to me to be bit dull. I see there by your pictures that your G-10 is very bright and shiny. Any tips you could pass along to help me get a look like that, thanks.
Thanks Wade and Wayne.I sand the G10 to 2000 grit then put multiple coats of finish on it sanding between coats.Then a few coats of wax and hand buffed.The finish is CA,or a finish I make using thinned out epoxy.
