Costum order of a leather trimmer/wood carver knife. I just can not make one! Short blade about 2" long with a overall length of 6". First set ended up a little short on the blade, but fit the hand well. Secound set has the right blade length with a 7" overall. Still fits hand well.
Small odd shaped knife at bottom was the test blade. This is all coming out of a bandsaw blade of 3/32" L-6. I have never worked with L-6 before, so I made a test blade to check my heat treatment. It worked! About 24 cuts through 1/4" leather and still shaving sharp! Going to work good for the costumer.
