Hi All, Still working down the list and fresh off the bench this morning a personalized letter opener.

Blade; 4 1/4 inch, flat ground, polished 440C with personalized etching

Handle; Mother of Pearl with nickel pins.

Bolsters; Scalloped nickel silver

OAL; 8 inches.

Call it a letter opener if you wish, but all that needs is an edge to be a real dagger. VERY NICE - good attention to detail.

Beautiful letter opener, looks to be a valued tool to someone. Did you heat treat the blade? I have made a few letter openers and have wondered if it would be a good idea to use O-1 and H.T it. Even though it is a letter opener they still require a lot of time and fines. Thanks for sharing. Dan
