Gday folks,
Here is my 4th lockback with Devin Thomas “Spirograph” damascus, 416 bolsters and liners with mammoth ivory. This is the 1st lock back ive done with just pins and possibly the last. Spiro Lockback5_opt.jpgSpiro Lockback2_opt.jpgSpiro Lockback_opt.jpg

A Beauty. Real good looking unit there Bruce.
Blade and scales are gorgeous, flows real well IMHO.

Bruce Very nice work !!!!
I like the shape of the blade but really like the scales you used.
How come you don't like using pins to attach everything, thats all I know.
I'm afraid to try an use screws or anything else.

Thanks everyone.
John, this one was a drama with pins because i used my lockback pattern and it was an issue getting the spring retainer to stay where i wanted it and pein the rear pin. The rear pin was also bigger than i would have liked but, the customer was happy and bourght it along with ordering a slippie with the same steel:biggrin:

Cheers Bruce

nice knife, my only problem with it is that i feel like the lines of the damascus dont flow with the lines of the ivory scales. otherwise its a gorgeous knife
