I can't get back in the shop for awhile but I can tell stories . And I see thunb stops is what I called it or raised clips , I didn't care much for the design so only made one .


I made this knife in about 1992 , for a friend , his design. He was in Canada and turned a canoe over and lost it in his tackle box and a year later going through the same place he saw the tackle box and dove down and got it . The only thing I had to do was make a new sheath .

Am I reading that right,..Are you saying it stayed under water that long?

I looks like it did well. I'm sure it means even more to him now that it has a story behind it.
I'd love a shot at some of my old ones.
 
Yes it was under water that long , a year . The handle is Pakawood and I did have to buff it a little , and that was it .
