A few days ago Shank posted about Harbor Freight's 20% discount.
I just learned this weekend that Lowe's has a Veteran's 10% discount. They don't advertize it but:
A friend was in Lowe's and was buying about $3,000.00 worth of stuff for a home improvment project he was working on. When he pulled out his credit card to pay out the clerk noticed his Military ID and promptly took off 10%.
Talk about a surprise and welcome benefit. That was like finding $300.00 in the parking lot and not having to wonder if he should put in his pocket or try to find the rightfull owner.2thumbs
