Some may remember that I've been transferred to Calgary for what will probably be a year, at least. For those in the area, I've just moved into my house in Spruce Cliff, and I started work downtown this morning.

If anyone is in the area and wants to get together to talk knife making, or has a shop they'd be willing to let me visit/play in, or might want to meet some randomly misplaced Texan guy, PM me and I'll send you my phone number.

In case y'all were wondering, yes, it's cold, but no, it isn't that bad.
 
Hope you find a place to grind on some metal soon. It would be a shame to not see one of your creations for over a year.

Good luck up north! Just in time to miss the nasty Texas summers too...

The Calgary gun and knife show is on this Friday and Saturday. Stop by and introduce yourself and I'll introduce you to some other knife makers. I will have a table set up selling stabilized wood. The offer still stands for coming out to my shop if you're interested.
